Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using NewLife AppGen at newlifeappgen.in (the “Platform”), operated by Cedar Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. (“Cedar IT”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to everyone who uses the Platform — registered users, visitors, and anyone accessing any feature of it.

NewLife AppGen is an AI-assisted software generation tool. You describe an application in plain language, and the Platform uses third-party artificial intelligence models to generate source code, which you can preview, refine, download and publish.

The Platform is a tool that assists you in producing software. It is not a software development agency, and we do not review, test, certify or take responsibility for the applications you generate. What you build, and what you do with it, is yours to decide and yours to verify.

To register and use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide a valid Indian mobile number and accurate registration details
• Not be barred from receiving our services under any applicable law
• Not have a prior account that was suspended or terminated for violating these Terms

If you register on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Accounts are created and secured using your mobile number, verified once by a one-time password (OTP), together with a password you choose. You agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate and current information
• Keep your password confidential and not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately at contact@cedarinfotech.com of any unauthorised access
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You are responsible for any charges or credit consumption arising from use of your account, including use by anyone you allow to access it.

The Platform operates on a credit system. One credit corresponds to one AI generation request — the initial build of an application or any subsequent edit you request. Previewing, publishing, downloading source code and browsing the Platform do not consume credits.

• Credits are allocated monthly according to your plan and do not carry over to the following period
• Paid subscription fees are charged in Indian Rupees (INR), exclusive of GST; applicable GST is added at checkout
• Subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for
• We may change pricing, plan inclusions or credit allocations with 30 days' notice to registered users

A credit is consumed when a generation request is successfully processed. If a request fails because of a fault on our side, the credit is returned to your balance. See our Refund Policy for full details.

You own the applications you generate. Subject to your having paid any fees due, Cedar IT claims no ownership over the source code, content or applications produced through your use of the Platform. You may download, modify, host, distribute and commercialise them freely, including after your subscription ends.

You retain ownership of the prompts and content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to operate the Platform and produce your requested output.

Because AI models generate output from patterns learned across large datasets, we cannot guarantee that generated code is unique, or that identical or similar output has not been produced for another user from a similar prompt.

This clause is important. AI-generated software can contain errors, security vulnerabilities, performance problems, or code that does not behave as described.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing and securing any application you generate before using it in production, deploying it publicly, or handling real user or customer data with it. We strongly recommend independent technical review before any commercial or safety-relevant use.

You are also responsible for ensuring that anything you build with the Platform complies with all laws applicable to you and your users, including data protection, consumer protection, accessibility and sector-specific regulations.

You must not use the Platform to build, host or distribute anything that:

• Is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or infringes another party's rights
• Is designed to deceive, impersonate a real person or organisation, or misrepresent its origin
• Constitutes malware, spyware, ransomware, or tools for unauthorised access to systems
• Facilitates spam, phishing, credential harvesting or unsolicited bulk messaging
• Harasses, threatens or endangers any person
• Violates the terms of any third-party service it connects to

You further agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers or automated tools to access the Platform or exhaust credits
• Circumvent credit limits, rate limits, plan restrictions or access controls
• Resell, sublicense or provide the Platform's generation capability as your own service without written agreement
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer or replicate our prompts, system instructions or underlying infrastructure
• Interfere with, overload or disrupt the Platform or the servers it runs on

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this clause, without refund where the breach is material.

The Platform relies on third-party artificial intelligence providers, including Google, to generate output. Your prompts and relevant project context are transmitted to those providers to fulfil your requests, and their processing is governed by their own terms.

We may change AI providers or models at any time to maintain or improve service quality, manage cost, or respond to a provider discontinuing a model. Output quality and characteristics may vary between models.

We aim to keep the Platform available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Access may be suspended for maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including failures at our AI providers, hosting provider or network carriers.

Features described on the Platform may change, and we may add, modify or withdraw features over time.

The Platform itself — its design, text, graphics, logos, software, prompts and trademarks — is the property of Cedar Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any right in the Platform to you. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works of the Platform without our prior written consent.

This clause concerns the Platform, not the applications you generate with it, which are addressed in clause 6.

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that generated applications will be free of defects or security vulnerabilities, that they will meet your requirements, that they will function on any particular platform or at any particular scale, or that AI output will be accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Cedar Information Technology Pvt. Ltd., its promoters, directors, employees, affiliates and advisors shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings
• Loss of or damage to data, however caused
• Defects, vulnerabilities or failures in applications generated through the Platform
• Losses arising from your deployment or commercial use of generated applications
• Service interruptions, downtime, or failures of third-party providers

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or connected with your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cedar Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. and its personnel against any claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or any application you generate, deploy or distribute — including claims brought by users of an application you built.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. We recommend downloading any source code you wish to keep before deleting your account, as project data may not be recoverable afterwards.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Before pursuing legal action, we encourage you to contact our Grievance Officer at contact@cedarinfotech.com so we can attempt an amicable resolution.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users by in-app notification or SMS. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of them.
